More about this game
Life Path: Text Simulator presents twelve life events across four chapters. You start with baseline stats like 58 wellbeing and 48 money. In each scenario, you face three possible reactions, such as sharing an umbrella or running ahead. Every decision increases or decreases specific stats. The run ends after the twelfth choice, evaluating your final meter levels to give you one of several retrospective endings based on what you prioritized.
Tips
- Choices always require trade-offs; for example, accepting a major job promotion grants 12 money but costs 8 wellbeing, while declining it gives 8 wellbeing and 5 purpose.
- To get the 'A life held close' ending, you need to finish the game with at least 75 connection and 65 wellbeing by consistently prioritizing relationships.
- Meters cannot drop below 0 or exceed the maximum of 100, so avoid picking choices that boost a stat that is already completely full to maximize your overall growth.
Questions
How many choices do I make in a single playthrough?
You make exactly 12 choices, one for each moment across the four chapters of the game, starting from age seven and ending at a new decade.
What are the four stats I need to manage?
The four meters you manage are Wellbeing, Purpose, Connection, and Money. They start at default values like 58 for Wellbeing and change based on your specific decisions.
How do I get different endings at the end of the game?
Endings are triggered by your final stat thresholds. For instance, finishing with 75 purpose gives the 'A life with a north' ending, while 75 money and under 50 wellbeing triggers 'A life rebuilt'.
