More about this game
Drag and drop shapes onto an 8x8 grid to clear lines horizontally or vertically. In Adventure mode, you clear lines to collect target resources like crystals and gems, while Classic mode focuses on high scores. As the board fills up, finding space for larger pieces becomes difficult. You can use bombs or randomizers to escape tight spots. A run ends when none of your available pieces fit on the grid.
Tips
- Placing a block earns 5 points per tile, and clearing a line awards a massive 100 points, so prioritize clearing lines.
- Clear lines in consecutive turns to earn a 40-point combo bonus for each extra clear. A streak survives through two misses.
- Save your bomb booster to clear a 3x3 area when you have no other moves available and are about to lose.
Questions
How do I get a combo in Block Fever?
You get a combo by clearing lines in consecutive turns. A streak survives through two misses, so you don't have to clear a line on every single placement to keep the combo multiplier going.
What do the boosters do?
The Bomb clears a 3x3 area of blocks, the Tile gives you a single 1x1 block to place anywhere, and the Randomizer shuffles all the pieces currently on the board to create new openings.
How does Adventure mode work?
In Adventure mode, you must collect specific resources like crystals, gems, and stars. You collect them by clearing the lines that contain them. You must reach the target amounts before you run out of moves.
