More about this game
In Matthew's Offer: The Road, you must complete 30 hours of community service at the Poppy Meadows shelter. Starting with 40 Reputation and 35 Inner Peace, you face seven distinct situations where you must choose how to interact with residents, staff, and figures from your past. Every dialogue choice directly impacts your meters, adding or subtracting points based on your empathy and accountability. The run ends after completing all 30 hours, with your final stats and specific narrative choices determining which of the three endings you receive.
Tips
- Choices that show empathy, like learning residents' names during the meal shift, grant up to 9 Reputation and 8 Inner Peace points.
- To reach the strongest Restoration ending, you need at least 68 in both Reputation and Inner Peace, plus a strong bond with Jack.
- When Craig from your old life texts you during shift four, deleting the message grants 10 Reputation and 9 Inner Peace.
Questions
How do I get the best ending?
To unlock the Restoration ending, you must reach 68 or higher in both Reputation and Inner Peace, build trust with Jack at least twice, and resist the temptation from Craig.
What happens if I make a bad choice?
Selfish or distant choices, like pretending not to hear Mrs. Green, will decrease your Reputation and Inner Peace meters. If you fail to build trust, you get the Unfinished ending.
How long is the game?
The story spans exactly seven scenes, representing your 30 hours of community service. Each shift you complete adds 5 hours to your total until you reach the final tea conversation.
