- Look for specific objects with a soft amber glow pulsing slowly in the current room.
- Tap the glowing object to restore a memory and increase your total sanctuary meter.
- Open the journal menu to read the newly unlocked sketch and story details.
- Find all five hidden objects across the four rooms to completely restore the sanctuary.

The Room Beyond the Mist is a quiet hidden-object game where you restore a fogbound house. Your goal is to find five softly glowing objects scattered across the Hearth, Kitchen, Nook, and Porch. Tapping an object mends a memory, adding a sketch to your journal and filling the sanctuary meter by exactly 20 percent. The run ends when you find all five objects, reaching 100 percent sanctuary and revealing a final message about the house's promise. After finishing, you can choose to stay awhile or begin again.
Tips
- Check the text box at the bottom of the screen; it tells you exactly what to look for in your current room.
- The Hearth contains two objects to discover, while the Kitchen, Nook, and Porch each hide exactly one item. Search them all carefully.
- If you tap an empty space, the text area will remind you to look for the soft amber glow pulsing around the hidden items.
Questions
How do I know if a room is finished?
When you tap an empty space in a completed room, the text message will say, 'This room is quiet now. The journal holds what returned.' This means no items remain there.
What happens when I find an object?
Every time you find an item, the sanctuary meter increases by exactly 20 percent. A new memory is also added to your journal, revealing more of the overarching story.
Can I read the memories again?
Yes, you can tap the Journal button at any time during your session to read the sketches and text entries you have unlocked so far across the four different rooms.
