More about this game

Bluecoats vs Redcoats is an interactive story where you play as Jack Jones during a tense soccer match. Your goal is to navigate a crisis involving a teammate's health and a bully's aggression. You read the situation, including signals from your guide dog Sunny, and select dialogue or action choices. Each choice affects three meters: Harvey's Safety, Team Trust, and Jack's Resolve. The story ends after a set number of scenes, and your final meter scores determine which of the three endings you receive.

Tips
  • Prioritize Harvey's safety early on; choosing to go straight to him grants a large 24-point safety boost right away.
  • Empathy builds trust. Choosing kind responses, like staying beside Harvey, increases team trust by 15 points instead of causing conflict with the team captain.
  • Avoid unnecessary conflict. Shouting back at Craig will cost you a 10-point trust penalty, making it much harder to reach the best possible ending.
Questions

How do I get the best ending?

To unlock the People Before Points ending, you need Harvey's Safety to reach at least 88, Team Trust to hit 76, and Jack's Resolve to hit 76 by the final scene.

What do the meters start at?

By default, Harvey's Safety starts at 35, Team Trust begins at 42, and Jack's Resolve starts at 50. These numbers change based on every dialogue choice you make.

What happens if I make a bad choice?

Some choices, like shouting at Craig, penalize your trust meter by 10 points. The story still continues to a conclusion, but you might get the Harvey Is Safe ending instead of the best outcome.
