Your goal is to complete paint-by-number animal portraits before the 40-second timer reaches zero. You select a numbered color from the bottom palette and tap the matching regions on the canvas to fill them in. Tapping the wrong shape penalizes your timer by two seconds, forcing you to be precise. A run ends when you successfully submit a fully painted picture to earn a star rating, or when the timer completely runs out.
Tips
- Never press the Submit button early. If you try to submit a picture with blank spots, the entire canvas restarts from scratch!
- Use the Hint button freely. It makes the correct shapes pulse for 2.4 seconds and does not penalize your timer.
- Focus on one number at a time. Completing all shapes for a specific number removes it from your palette entirely.
Questions
How do I earn three stars?
You need to finish the painting quickly. Submitting the completed picture with at least 45% of your original 40-second timer remaining awards you a perfect three-star rating.
What happens if I tap the wrong number?
Tapping a shape that does not match your currently selected color subtracts exactly two seconds from your timer. Take a moment to double-check the numbers before tapping.
Can I keep playing if my time runs out?
Yes. If the timer hits zero, a tiny pause menu appears. You can choose to add 30 extra seconds to your clock or start the picture over.
