More about this game
In World cup, you control a runner automatically sprinting at a speed of 390 across floating circular platforms representing 10 different countries. Your goal is to time your jumps to land safely on the next platform and eventually reach the championship trophy. Some platforms are sticky and will hold you in place; you must tap again within 2.25 seconds to break free, or you will be dragged into the canyon. The run ends if you miss a platform, fall into the canyon, or fail to escape a sticky platform in time.
Tips
- Jump when you are close to the edge of the platform to ensure you reach the next one, utilizing the 0.16-second jump buffer.
- Pay attention to sticky platforms like Argentina; you only have exactly 2.25 seconds to tap again and break free before falling.
- Use the jump assist ring that pulses on the platform to help time your jumps perfectly as your runner moves at 390 speed.
Questions
How do I escape a sticky platform?
When you land on a sticky platform, you have exactly 2.25 seconds to tap again to break free and jump to the next platform. If you wait too long, your runner is dragged into the canyon.
What happens if I miss a jump?
If you miss a jump and fall below a height of -340 into the canyon, your run will immediately end. You will then have to restart your journey from the very first platform.
How do I win the game?
You win by successfully jumping across all 10 platforms, starting from China and ending in Qatar. Once you land on the final platform, you will safely reach the championship trophy.
