How to play
- Read the rule card at the top to know exactly how to sort the current books.
- Drag books from the bottom tray into the numbered shelf slots to arrange them.
- Rearrange the spines until they match the rule, like author initials A to Z.
- Press the Check button to see if your order is correct and complete the level.
- Earn coins and up to three stars based on your sorting speed and total accuracy.

In Cozy Shelf, your goal is to arrange books on a wooden shelf according to specific rules, such as tallest to shortest, alphabetical by title, or coolest spine to warmest. You drag books from the bottom tray into the numbered slots. As you progress through twenty levels, difficulty increases by combining traits, like sorting by color order then alphabetical title. If time runs out, you receive a miss penalty but can keep sorting. A run ends when you correctly place all books and press check.
Tips
- If you get stuck, spend one coin to buy a hint. This shows glowing outlines of the correct book order for nine seconds.
- You can pause the timer by pressing the Tea button to take a break. This opens a relaxing tea screen without penalizing your time.
- To earn three stars, you must complete the level with zero mistakes and finish before the time score drops below the speed bonus threshold.

What happens if the timer runs out?
If the timer reaches zero, you get a miss penalty and the timer resets slightly. You do not fail the level, so you can continue sorting the books until you get the correct order.
What are the coins used for?
You start with three coins and earn more by completing levels quickly and accurately. You can spend one coin to activate a hint, which reveals the exact position for each book on the shelf.
How do I unlock new levels?
You must complete the previous shelf to unlock the next one. There are twenty levels in total, and completing all of them earns you the Cozy Curator master achievement.
