More about this game
You compete in a full race weekend consisting of three distinct phases. First, practice the track with unlimited training laps to learn the corners. Next, complete six qualifying laps where your single best time determines your starting position on the grid. Finally, compete in a three-lap main race against 24 opponents. Your car accelerates automatically up to 390 km/h on the asphalt, but driving on the curbs or off-road severely reduces your speed. The run ends when you cross the finish line after the third race lap, displaying your final position.
Tips
- Stay on the asphalt to maintain your 390 km/h top speed; driving on the track's curbs instantly drops your maximum speed to 78 percent.
- Going completely off-road applies a massive penalty, dropping your maximum speed to just 43 percent of its normal limit and forcing you to accelerate again.
- Use the brake button before sharp corners to reduce your speed by 480 units per second, preventing you from sliding into the slow off-road grass.
Questions
How many laps is the main race?
The main race lasts for exactly 3 laps. Before that, you have unlimited training laps and exactly 6 qualifying laps to set your grid position against the 24 opponents.
How is my starting position determined?
Your grid position is based on your fastest single lap time out of the 6 laps you complete during the qualifying phase. The opponent benchmark speed is 315 km/h.
Why is my car slowing down?
Your car automatically slows down if you drive on the curbs, go completely off-road, or if you get within 43 units of an opponent car, which forces a speed reduction.
