The difficulty depends on the number of puzzle columns, which defaults to 6 but can range from 4 to 8, changing the total piece count. A run ends when all pieces are successfully placed and the masterwork is restored.
Tips
- Use the hint button to see exactly where a piece belongs. The hint highlights the correct location on the board and lasts for 1100 milliseconds by default.
- Focus on the edges of the pieces to figure out how they connect to each other, matching the tabs and blanks of the interlocking shapes.
- You don't need to be perfectly accurate; pieces will automatically snap into place if you release them within a 0.72 tolerance threshold of their true center.
Questions
How many pieces are in the tray at once?
The spirit tray holds up to 4 pieces at a time. New pieces automatically fill the empty slots from the waiting stack as soon as you successfully place one on the board.
Can I change the number of pieces?
The total number of pieces is determined by the puzzle columns setting, which defaults to 6 but can be set between 4 and 8. The rows are calculated automatically based on the columns.
What happens when I place all the pieces?
When all pieces are placed, a short 550-millisecond delay occurs before you achieve a Moonlit Victory. The masterwork is fully restored, and you are given the option to play again.
