More about this game

In Repro Star Tap, your goal is to catch as many falling stars as possible within exactly thirty seconds. The core loop requires you to watch the top of the screen where stars spawn in five distinct columns and drop downward. Because they fall at slightly different speeds ranging from 115 to 145 pixels per second, they can sometimes bunch up. A run ends immediately when the clock hits zero, displaying your total collected stars and comparing it against your all-time best score.

Tips
  • Stars spawn exactly every 0.55 seconds and cycle through five lanes in a predictable pattern, shifting two lanes over each time.
  • Because fall speeds vary randomly between 115 and 145, a newly spawned star might overtake an older one. Watch their relative positions carefully.
  • A star disappears completely once its vertical position exceeds 806. Prioritize tapping the ones closest to the bottom edge of the screen.
Questions

How long does a single round last?

Each round gives you exactly thirty seconds to catch stars. The remaining time is displayed in the top right corner and updates every full second until it hits zero.

How do I score points?

You score exactly one point for every star you successfully tap before it falls off the bottom of the screen. Your total score is shown in the top left.

Does the game save my highest score?

Yes, your best score is saved locally on your device. You can see your all-time record on both the initial start screen and the final result screen.
