In Spiral Ascent: The Hollow Shaf, you must climb a vertical tower bound by twenty seals. Navigate 3D platforms, jump across gaps, and use your sword to defeat twisted enemies. As you ascend, the platforms begin to move and enemies become tougher, culminating in elite bosses every fifth level. Collect echoes to upgrade your health, damage, speed, and magnet radius at the spirit forge. A run ends if you lose all 5 lives by falling or taking too much damage.
Tips
- Use the auto-lock feature in combat; your character will automatically face nearby enemies when you attack.
- Watch the glowing blob under your character to predict where you will land after a jump.
- Prioritize upgrading your Vital Thread to increase your maximum health, giving you more room for error.
Questions
How do I heal?
You can sometimes heal by talking to fallen spirits. There is a 30% chance they will restore a lost life when you claim their reward.
What happens when I fall?
Falling off the platforms costs you one life. You will respawn at the last checkpoint you reached on that level. If you lose all 5 lives, it's game over.
How do I beat the bosses?
Elite bosses appear on levels 5, 10, 15, and 20. They have much more health than regular enemies. Strike after they lunge and use your upgraded damage to whittle them down.
