More about this game
AC20 Neon Jam puts you in control of a four-track electronic music mix. You build a custom groove by assigning loops to the drum, bass, melody, and effect lanes. Changes queue up and drop in perfectly on the next bar. Once your mix is running, you follow the four lights and tap exactly on the beat to build crowd energy. Hitting perfect timing earns more energy, which unlocks three new venues like the Rooftop and Cosmos. The jam continues as long as you want to keep mixing.
Tips
- Watch the four beat indicator lights at the top of the screen to time your taps perfectly and earn 5 energy instead of 3.
- You can queue up multiple track changes at once; they will all wait and switch together at the start of the next musical bar.
- If a lane sounds too busy, hit the remove button to silence it, or use the clear all button to start a completely fresh canvas.
Questions
How do I unlock new venues?
You unlock new venues by tapping the beat button in time with the music. The Rooftop unlocks at 25 energy, the Warehouse at 50, and the Cosmos at 75.
Why didn't my sound start playing immediately?
To keep the music perfectly in sync, any new sounds you select are queued up and will automatically start playing at the beginning of the next four-beat bar.
Can I change the speed of the music?
Yes, you can use the plus and minus buttons to adjust the tempo anywhere from 90 up to 150 BPM. The speed change takes effect on the next bar.
