Lantern Run (QA) is a minimal counting game where the sole objective is to increase your score. You are presented with a single button labeled Tap. Each time you interact with this button, your score increases by exactly one point. There are no time limits, enemies, or end conditions, allowing you to continue raising the number indefinitely. The challenge comes entirely from your own personal goals and how high you decide to count.
Tips
- Set a personal target score before you start tapping to give yourself a clear goal to reach during your session, as the game does not provide built-in milestones.
- Try using multiple fingers if you are playing on a touchscreen device to increase the counter much faster than you could by just using a single finger.
- Position your cursor directly over the center of the button and keep your mouse still so you do not accidentally click outside the active area while clicking rapidly.

Is there an end to the game?
No, there is no programmed end or win condition in this version. The counter will continue to increase by exactly one point for as long as you keep clicking the button.
Can I lose points?
No, the score only goes up when you click. There are no enemies, timers, or hidden mechanics in the game that reduce your score or reset it while you are playing.
What happens if I refresh the page?
Because the game does not save your progress locally or to a server, refreshing the page will completely reset your score back to zero and you will have to start over.
