More about this game
Card Clash Arena is a strategic card battler where you build a 10-card deck to defeat the rival core. Each turn, you spend energy to deploy units with unique abilities like Fireball or Shield. When you end your turn, all active units attack automatically. As you progress through the 12-stage campaign, enemy stats grow and opponents become smarter. Bosses appear every four stages. A run ends when either your core or the enemy core reaches zero health, rewarding you with trophies and upgrade materials.
Tips
- Energy carries over and increases by 1 each turn up to a maximum of 10, so you can save up for expensive cards like the 7-energy Solar Titan.
- Units with the Guard ability protect your core and other units from direct attacks unless the attacker has the Ranged passive, which ignores retaliation.
- Upgrade your cards using materials earned from victories to increase their attack, health, and ability power. Reaching level 3 unlocks the Aurora skin, and level 5 unlocks Ascendant.
Questions
How do I get more cards?
You earn card drops by winning battles. The rarity of the drops depends on your current Arena, which unlocks as you earn more trophies. For example, the Cryo Citadel arena at 450 trophies drops Epic cards.
What happens when a unit dies?
When a unit's health reaches zero, it is removed from the board. Some units, like Pulse Squire, have a Last Spark ability that deals direct core damage upon death, triggering immediately when defeated.
How does energy work?
You start with 1 energy and gain 1 additional energy capacity each turn. Energy is used to deploy cards, and your maximum energy cap increases up to 10 as the battle progresses into later turns.
