More about this game
In Alice Dot Dodge, you control a white circle positioned at the bottom of a five-lane grid. Your goal is to survive as long as possible, earning exactly one point for every second you stay alive. Colored squares ranging from 32 to 46 pixels in size drop from the top of the screen. As your run progresses, the game becomes much harder: the square falling speed increases from 260 up to a maximum of 510, and the spawn delay shrinks from 0.6 seconds down to just 0.3 seconds. A single collision ends your run.
Tips
- The game is programmed so that a square will never spawn in the exact same lane twice in a row, meaning the lane that just dropped a square is temporarily safe.
- Falling squares vary in size between 32 and 46 pixels, so a larger square might require you to give it a slightly wider berth when shifting into an adjacent lane.
- The falling speed maxes out once it adds 250 to the base speed, and the spawn rate caps at 0.3 seconds, so if you survive that long, the difficulty plateaus.
Questions
How exactly is my score calculated?
Your score is directly tied to your survival time. You earn exactly one point for every full second you stay alive. The game tracks your best survival time in seconds and saves it locally to your device.
Can I move directly from the far left to the far right?
No, you must shift across the five lanes one at a time. If you are in lane zero on the far left, you must input four separate moves to reach lane four on the far right.
Do the falling squares ever stop speeding up?
Yes, the difficulty has a strict cap. The squares start falling at a speed of 260 and increase as time passes, but the speed increase stops once it adds an extra 250, keeping the game manageable.
