In Cake Stack, your goal is to build an endless tower by dropping moving cake layers exactly on top of each other. The core loop involves timing your drops to match the edges of the layer below. If you miss slightly, the overhanging piece is sliced off, making your next layer smaller. The difficulty increases as the layers move faster the higher you build. A run ends when you miss the tower completely or the layer becomes too thin to stack.
Tips
- Aim for perfect drops to keep your cake layers wide and earn combo points. A perfect drop gives you a bonus of 75 points plus 18 per combo.
- Don't panic if your layer gets sliced. Focus on aligning the next one perfectly to maintain your combo.
- The layers speed up as you build higher, reaching maximum speed after about 27 layers. Adjust your timing accordingly.
Questions
How do I get a combo?
You get a combo by making perfect drops, meaning the new layer aligns almost exactly with the one below. Perfect drops increase your combo multiplier and award extra points.
What happens if I don't align the layers perfectly?
If the layers aren't aligned, the part of the new layer that hangs over the edge is sliced off. This makes the next layer smaller and harder to stack.
How does the game end?
The game ends if you drop a layer and it completely misses the tower, or if the layer becomes too thin (less than 24 pixels wide) to continue stacking.
