Your goal is to defeat the Black Sun Demon King by exploring a series of clay board levels. Roll a movement die to navigate the grid, uncover hidden tiles, and collect runes to open the exit portal. A run ends when your health reaches zero or you defeat the final boss.
Tips
- Keep an eye on the threat level; every movement roll increases it by 1, spawning enemies or blocking tiles at thresholds.
- Match magic dice in combat to trigger your hero's combo skills, like the Knight's Holy Storm or Mage's Ice Burst.
- Use fountains strategically to heal up to 5 HP when your health is low, rather than wasting them when full.
Questions
How do I open the exit portal?
You need to collect a specific number of runes scattered across the floor. Once you have enough, find the exit tile and defeat the gate boss if one is present to proceed.
What happens when the threat level rises?
Rolling the movement die increases the threat level. At threat level 3, a new enemy spawns. At 6, enemies get stronger, and at 12, a tile becomes blocked.
How does combat work?
You roll four combat dice that land on attack, guard, or magic. Attacks deal damage, guards provide shields, and combining magic dice activates powerful hero-specific skills.
