More about this game
In Aegis Siege: Archon’s Reach, your goal is to defend the bastion gate from advancing waves of enemies across a five-column grid. The core loop involves dragging to aim and firing projectiles that bounce off walls to hit enemy weak points. Enemies advance down the grid every turn, and the difficulty increases with directional shields, moving pillars, and wind that curves your shots. A run ends if the enemies breach your gate and reduce its 100 health to zero, or if you clear all three waves.
Tips
- Use wall bounces to multiply your projectile speed and bypass frontal shields. Hitting an enemy after two bounces earns a double-ricochet bonus.
- Watch the wind indicator, as it will curve the arc of your shots. Use the Chrono Anchor ability to slow aiming time by 80 percent.
- Hit gunpowder barrels to trigger explosions that deal 45 base damage to clustered enemies, or destroy archways to drop debris.
Questions
How do I defeat shielded enemies?
Shielded enemies block frontal damage. You must bounce your shots off the stone walls to hit their unarmored back flanks. A successful rear strike triggers a critical flank multiplier.
What do relics do?
Relics grant upgrades between waves, like splitting your shots or adding thermal blasts. Combining specific elements, like Fire and Wind, unlocks powerful synergies such as the expanding Firestorm blast.
How do I unlock Act II?
You need to earn 12 out of 15 mastery stars in Act I by completing objectives. These include clearing stages efficiently in under 10 turns or getting three double-ricochet kills.
