In The Last Forge, you must protect the Ancient Forge from relentless waves of elemental spirits. As you strike down foes like Ash Golems and Animated Armor, they drop essences of fire, frost, storm, shadow, and nature. The difficulty ramps up as elite enemies spawn with double health and deal heavier damage. Your run ends in defeat if your blacksmith's health or the forge's 180 hit points drop to zero, but surviving the full 150-second timer secures a victory.
Tips
- Elite enemies deal 15 damage to you and 12 to the forge. Prioritize taking them down quickly before they overwhelm your defenses.
- Save your 6 mixed essences for the Oath of Iron ritual if the forge is heavily damaged, as it completely restores its 180 health.
- Every strike has a 14 percent chance to deal critical damage. Combine fast-hitting weapons like Storm Chain to maximize your critical hit frequency.

How do I heal my blacksmith?
You can heal by performing the Oath of Iron ritual, which restores half your maximum health, or by crafting Nature weapons that launch thorns to leech health back on hit.
What are the souls used for?
Souls are earned at the end of a run based on kills and surviving. Spend 6 souls on the end screen to unlock the Tempered Heart, granting 25 bonus health permanently.
How do I get a legendary weapon?
When the forge awakens, you might be offered a legendary evolution if you already have a level 3 weapon. This costs essences but combines two elemental effects into one strike.
