More about this game
Rhythms of the Heart is a rhythm game where you help Jack perform a 50-second song for his family. Watercolor notes travel down three lanes toward the guitar line. Tapping them at the right moment fills the Family Joy meter, while missing notes drains it. Ribbon notes require you to hold the input until the glow reaches the end. The run ends in success if you survive the full 50 seconds, or fails if the joy meter drops to zero.
Tips
- Watch the glow on hold notes; releasing too early will cost you a streak and drain the joy meter.
- Aim for the center of the guitar line. A perfect hit gives you 4.4 joy, while a regular hit gives 3.2.
- Don't panic if you miss a note. A miss costs 7 joy, but you start with 72% so you have room to recover.
Questions
How do I get a perfect hit?
Tap the note within a 135-millisecond window of it crossing the guitar line. Perfect hits give you extra joy and a special heart burst animation.
What happens if I miss a note?
Missing a note breaks your streak and subtracts 7 points from your Family Joy meter. If the meter reaches zero, the song ends early.
How long is the song?
The song lasts exactly 50 seconds. A timer in the top right corner shows how much time is left in the performance.
