Face off against the colossal Molten Titan in a grueling three-phase arena battle. Your goal is to cool the foundry by throwing your spear to pin rotating gears and pulling the chains to redirect coolant. As the fight progresses, the titan will lower its arm, exposing its core to your strikes. The difficulty ramps up in the final phase as the arena collapses and the titan unleashes sweeping attacks. A run ends if your Vanguard's health is depleted by the titan's massive slams.
Tips
- Time your dodges carefully; dodging gives you a quick burst of speed at 18 units to escape the titan's 7-unit slam radius.
- Don't forget to pull your spear after pinning a gear. You won't be able to strike or throw it again until it returns to your hand.
- In the final phase, watch out for the heat pulses. Stay away from the glowing areas to avoid taking 8 damage when the arena collapses.
Questions
How do I redirect the coolant?
Throw your spear at one of the three rotating gold gears. Once the spear embeds and pins the gear, pull the chain to complete the lock.
How do I damage the Molten Titan?
You must first complete all three coolant locks. The titan will then lower its arm, allowing you to get close and strike its core to deplete its 360 health.
What happens if I die?
If your health reaches zero, your Vanguard breaks. You can reconstruct and resume the fight from the exact phase checkpoint you reached, so you don't lose progress.
