More about this game
In this game, you control a knight facing endless waves of slimes in a confined dungeon arena. Your goal is to survive and rack up points by moving left and right while swinging your sword to defeat the approaching enemies. As the timer ticks up, slimes spawn much faster—dropping from a two-second interval down to just half a second—and their movement speed increases. You start with three health points, and colliding with a slime costs one heart. The run ends when you lose all three hearts.
Tips
- Time your attacks carefully, as there is a short cooldown after each sword swing. Missing a strike leaves you vulnerable to fast-moving slimes.
- Prioritize defeating the purple slimes first, as their base speed of 39 is noticeably faster than the green slimes, making them a more immediate threat.
- Use your 1.25 seconds of invulnerability after taking a hit to reposition your knight and escape from being cornered at the edges of the arena.
Questions
How exactly is my final score calculated?
Your score is a combination of your survival time and your total kills. You earn two points for every second you stay alive, plus an additional 25 points for every green or purple slime you successfully strike.
What happens when I take damage from a slime?
When a slime gets too close, you lose one of your three health hearts. The slime is pushed back 48 pixels, and your knight flashes, gaining 1.25 seconds of invulnerability to help you recover.
How much harder does the dungeon get over time?
The difficulty scales up significantly. The time between slime spawns shrinks from over two seconds down to just 0.56 seconds, and the slimes' movement speed increases steadily as the seconds tick by.
