In Firefly Tap Night, your goal is to score as many points as possible within a strict 60-second time limit. You must quickly tap the glowing gold fireflies before their 2.25-second lifetime expires to build your combo and multiply your score. After the first four seconds, dangerous red sparks begin to spawn with an 18 percent chance. The difficulty ramps up as targets spawn faster over time. The run ends when the 60-second timer runs out, recording your final score.
Tips
- Focus on building your combo multiplier. Every 5 consecutive catches increases your multiplier, up to a maximum of 5x, which grants you 50 points per catch instead of the base 10 points.
- Watch out for the red sparks, which are exactly 10 percent smaller than regular fireflies. Tapping one deducts 25 points from your total and resets your combo multiplier to zero.
- Prioritize older fireflies first. They only stay on the screen for 2.25 seconds, and letting just one disappear will instantly reset your hard-earned combo multiplier back to zero.
