Your goal is to infiltrate secure areas by copying the forms of crates and maintenance workers to fool patrolling guards. You must manage your alert meter and strike enemies from behind to clear a path. Every numbered level increases enemy health and movement speed by a set percentage, making patrols much harder to avoid. A run ends when you reach the cyan exit, defeat an arena boss, or lose all 100 of your health points to enemy attacks.
Tips
- Holding the sneak button reduces your movement speed to 38 percent of normal, which helps you avoid triggering guard alerts when moving near them.
- Do not change your disguise while inside a guard's vision cone, or you will be instantly compromised and fail the current mission.
- Every 10th level replaces the stealth mission with a boss arena where you must defeat a high-health rival to earn a skill piece.
Questions
How do I unlock my class skill?
You need to defeat the boss that appears on every 10th level. Winning these arena fights drops a skill piece, which unlocks abilities like the Fighter's Shockwave or Mage's Phase Veil.
Why did the guards attack me while disguised?
Guards will become suspicious and raise their alert meter if you move too quickly while in their vision cone. Hold the sneak button to move slowly and avoid breaking your cover.
What do the pets do?
You can adopt companions like the Neon Hound or Signal Fox from the shop. They follow you during missions, and feeding them increases their growth scale and movement speed.
