Your bird fires automatically, so your focus is on dodging enemy formations, dodging massive fireballs, and collecting dropped coins. Defeat waves of enemies to trigger intense boss battles against foes like the Tempest Sovereign or Sun-Forge Scarab. Use the coins you gather to upgrade your health, damage, and fire rate, or unlock new phoenixes with unique passive abilities. The run ends when your health drops to zero.
Tips
- Watch for the warning signs before giant fireballs drop—they deal 50 damage if they hit you.
- Grab power-up gems to temporarily gain triple shot, a protective shield, or a coin magnet.
- Save up 1,000 coins to unlock the Storm Roc, which fires extra side bullets every 6th volley.
Questions
How do I heal my phoenix?
Defeated enemies sometimes drop green health potions that restore 25 HP when collected. If you unlock the Sun Guardian, you also passively heal 10% of your max health every 20 seconds.
What do the different gem power-ups do?
Gems give you a temporary boost: the Triple gem gives you a wider attack, the Shield gem protects you from the next hit, and the Magnet gem pulls nearby coins toward you.
How do I beat the bosses?
Keep moving to dodge their specific attack patterns, like the Tempest Sovereign's lightning forks or the Hydra's seed spread. Focus your fire on them until their health bar depletes.
