More about this game
Firefly Tap Night is a fast-paced arcade game where your goal is to score as many points as possible in 60 seconds. You must tap the glowing fireflies as they appear and drift across the screen in a wavy pattern. Each successful catch builds your combo, which multiplies your points up to five times. However, you must avoid tapping the red sparks, which will deduct 50 points and reset your combo to zero. The round ends when the 60-second timer runs out.
Tips
- Focus on building your combo. Every five catches increases your multiplier, up to a maximum of 5x, turning a 10-point catch into 50 points.
- Watch out for the red sparks. There is a 20 percent chance a spark will spawn instead of a firefly, and hitting one costs 50 points.
- Fireflies only stay on screen for about 2.35 seconds. They drift in a wavy pattern and bounce off the edges, so tap them quickly.
Questions
How do I get a higher score?
Build your combo by catching fireflies without hitting any red sparks. Your points per catch increase with your combo, up to a 5x multiplier after 20 consecutive catches.
What happens if I tap a red spark?
Tapping a red spark deducts 50 points from your score and immediately resets your combo multiplier back to zero. Sparks stay on screen slightly shorter than fireflies.
How many bugs can be on the screen?
The game allows a maximum of seven targets on the screen at once. A new bug or spark spawns roughly every 0.62 seconds during the 60-second round.
