More about this game

DDR: Family Mode Breakdown is a rhythm game where you tap the left, down, up, and right directional arrows exactly as they cross the hit line. The core challenge comes from four modifiers: Stealth makes arrows completely invisible, Sudden reveals them with less than a second left, Hidden fades them out before they reach the bottom, and Shake makes them jitter. Your run ends when the 45-second track finishes. The game grades your overall accuracy, awarding an S rank if you hit 95 percent or higher.

Tips
  • A Perfect hit requires tapping within 72 milliseconds of the beat, while a Good hit allows up to 180 milliseconds before you break your combo.
  • Every 10 consecutive combo hits triggers a Sunny Reward, giving you a visual cheer from the dog to confirm you are on track.
  • In Stealth mode, rely entirely on the music's 124 BPM beat rather than visuals, as the arrows will not appear on the screen at all.
Questions

How does scoring work?

A Perfect hit gives 1,000 points plus 14 times your current combo. A Good hit gives 600 points plus 9 times your combo. Missing an arrow completely breaks your combo and resets your multiplier.

What are the different modes?

Stealth hides arrows completely, Sudden makes them appear late, Hidden fades them out before the hit line, and Shake makes them jitter as they fall. Each changes how you read the 2.3-second note travel time.

How do I get an S grade?

You need an accuracy of 95 percent or higher at the end of the 45-second song to earn an S grade. An A grade requires 86 percent, and a B grade requires 72 percent.
