More about this game
Compete against a computer opponent to empty your hand first. You start with 5 cards and must match the top card's shape or number to play. Special action cards force the opponent to draw, skip their turn, or let you play again immediately. If you cannot play, you must draw from the market deck. The round ends when a player empties their hand, turning leftover cards into penalty points. The player with the lowest penalty score after three rounds wins.
Tips
- Save your Whot 20 wild cards for emergencies when you have no matching shapes or numbers, as they are worth 20 penalty points if left in your hand.
- Chain special cards like Hold On (1) to keep your turn active, allowing you to play multiple cards in a row and quickly deplete your hand.
- Pay close attention to the opponent's card count. Hit them with a Pick 2 or Pick 3 when they are down to their last card to prevent them from winning.
Questions
What do the special numbered cards do?
Card 1 gives you an extra turn, 2 forces the opponent to draw two cards, 5 forces a three-card draw, 8 skips the opponent's turn, and 14 forces everyone else to draw one card.
How is the winner of the match decided?
After three rounds, the player with the lowest total penalty score wins. Penalty points are calculated based on the numbers of the cards left in your hand when a round ends.
What happens if I can't play any of my cards?
You must tap the market deck to draw a new card. If the drawn card matches the active shape or number, you can play it on your next turn.
